John was a wonderful and generous man. He encouraged me with my Vanderbilt education and was a role model in how he lived his life.

- Nicole Parker, Denver, CO

I worked for Mr. Hall as his caregiver for two month. He was very good to me and I will remember him as my best friend and his family. With sympathy, Andy.

- Andy, Joliet, IL

John made people feel comfortable from the first minute they met him. He greatly enjoyed conversation and laughter. I have many fond memories of John sitting around the swimming pool in Princeton watching all of the little Conner kids splashing, screaming and causing chaos. I think that John liked it best when his life was filled with family. He meant a lot to everyone who knew him and he will be remembered every day.
